My Colour Freedom experience

DO NOT BUY THIS!
I wanted to go silver like the picture on the box, not a proper silver/grey just a silver blonde as it says!! Total waste of £7.99 which is alot for a hair dye. I bought this because with that price you cant not think it'll be high quality, well it WASNT. I regret buying this soo much!
Ok, so before people think 'she probably applied it wrong' or 'she didnt read the instructions properly' i did everything right. My mums a hairdresser so she applied it for me evenly onto my hair.

When it was applied it looked a blueish colour so i worried but then i thought it'll look better when washed out.
So i washed it and dried it with a hairdryer and it looked horrible. It was patchy with silver and blonde and blue bits in it looked like i had done it blind folded.

So after it looking like a mess i decided to google other reviews on it and people had the same problem or the opposite problem which was that it hadnt of done anything to their hair! I am so mad about this, not only because it's messed my hair up but the fact i wasted almost £10 on this worthless product.

So.. DONT be fooled by the fancy packaging or the price because this is something that needs to be binned and banned from all shops literally. I have emailed them with my complaint and hopefully they should get back to me.
Hope this has helped people :)

Hair talk!

I go through sooo many different hair stages i have basically ruined my hair. I started having my hair dyed when i was about 12/13? I hated my natural hair colour, it was a light brown that had a gingery tint to it. So at 12/13 i had blonde highlights put in and i had highlights for a good few years i think, then i had a full head of brown when i was 14 and hated it. Have no idea why i wanted to go that colour but i wanted it gone straight away.

So i had it stripped out using a colour stripper and then i had it bleached and all that hair stuff. So since then i've had it coloured blonde all over, after prom i decided to go a full head of grey and loved it but unfortunately grey never lasts and is sooo hard to keep it faded within a few weeks.
Oh and i have been wearing micro loops for years, im wearing them in this picture.
I have had my hair dyed grey a couple of times now and i love it but I think blonde is alot easier to keep up with.
So now at college after all the grey and blonde hair i decided to go a pastel pink because i saw a few people with it and loved it. I really dont think this damaged my hair as it was more of a conditioner dye, if you read my post on it then you know what im on about. But yeh this wasn't permanent so i had to top this up every week if i could be bothered, but i couldnt so i gave up and then realised as it faded it turned a horrible peach colour.
(I dont have a picture of this).

So me and my mother aka hairdresser (lucky me) was in Asda and decided to look at hair dyes but instead of getting a dye that I've previously used i decided to get this. Which i have used before but totally forgot how good it was and how it didnt turn my hair yellow like previous dyes!
This is amazing! I was so picky on whether to buy it or not because it was £5.78 and that's quite pricey for a dye that i thought wouldnt work because my hair is hard work. This dye is soo good! It made my hair feel so soft, gave it a nice smell afterwards, made it look so shiny and colour my roots perfectly! This is the only dye that actually does as it says on the box!! Really recommend this if you want to go blonde but dont want to go through all that hassle of hair breakage! I will definitely be repurchasing this when next having my hair done because it's not one of those rubbish false advertising dyes! Link for this will be down below.

BLEACH LONDON

This is just a quick review on the silver shampoo by Bleach London. This cost me £6 from Boots but you can buy it online off the official website for £5.
I do like this but i feel like if you leave it on for more than 3 minutes it stains your hair a purple colour and not your full head either, just strands.
I didnt mind this when i was a silver colour because it looked nice so it didnt bother me but now that i am a proper blonde it annoys me therefore i hardly ever leave it on for more than a minute.
It does tone out those brassy/yellow tones in yout hair which i HATE. I used to use the Touch Of Silver shampoo but i felt like that was doing nothing to my hair at all but then again my hair never goes right.
If you have grey or silver hair and want to keep it then I definitely recommend this because it does make the colour last, but if you're gonna leave it on your white / bleach blonde hair for 5 minute then i do not recommend it at all.

Makeup Revolutions best palette yet?

Look at how beautiful this palette is! I am so in love with it, when i saw it online I definitely had to get my hands on it! This is the biggest selling product Makeup Revolution have had and i understand why.

This palette is so affordable and costing only £9.99! It's pigmented and creamy and includes matte, shimmer and baked eyeshadows all in one palette. It also coms with a soft brush that is great to blend and apply the shadows.

They all have names too! It comes with a clear sheet over it with creative names printed on over the pans.

You can buy this in the Superdrug store or online for the same price. I highly recommend this as it is so pigmented, has different kinds of eyeshadows and the colours are amazing and all wearable!

Foundation Review

So i've recently ran out of my Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation and i thought i'd try something new but cheap as i dont really need a heavy full coverage foundation because my skin is pretty clear.

I thought the Rimmel foundation was thick and clinged to random areas on my face so it looked blotchy. I also bought it in the shade Soft beige so it a tad darker than my natural skin tone which was hard to blend into my neck colour. It isnt suitable for if you have dry skin because i feel that it just makes it appear alot worse.

I decided to purchase the Collection foundation because i've heard really good reviews and for the price which is £5.99 i thought that i'd have to try it out. I also really like the packaging because it's not too bright and has a matte glass affect which i think makes it very appealing. I got the shade Ivory 2 as my natural skin tone is quite light. On the back of the bottle it says
• Lasts for up to 16 hours
• Flawless coverage
• Minimises imperfections
• SPF 20
• Oil free
Even though it says oil free my face still gets very oily with this on but my face is that skin type so thats probably why. Thats why i didnt purchase the illumate one.
The consistancy isnt too thick or thin so it's great for when you dont want that heavy cakey look but at the same time you want a nice natural looking coverage.
The coverage is buildable, i only apply 1 layer on as i dont need to cover anything really because my skin is clear.
You can buy this foundation from Superdrug and online stores such as Amazon and the Collection website itself.
I also use 2 concealers so thats why i dont need the coverage, i use these to add abit of colour to my face. I use the shades Porcelain and Natural Ivory from the L.A. Girl Pro HD concealers.
